DILG Secretary Jesse M. Robredo Visits Laoag City
In celebration of the Pamulinawen Festival 2011 of Laoag City, Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government, Hon. Jesse M. Robredo, was the Guest Speaker during the Association of Barangay Council's Night held at the City Auditorium.
Prior to the program, the Secretary conducted a Press Conference attended by media practitioners in Ilocos, members of the DILG Family which includes the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology represented by the Regional Director, J/SSUPT Emilio C Culang, Jr, Laoag City Jail Warden, J/SINSP Roque Constantino A Sison and the Provincial Administrator, J/SINSP Herminigildo B Rivera, and the Laoag City Government headed by the Honorable City Mayor, Michael V. Fariñas. After the press conference, the city government hosted a dinner for the guest speaker.
