Potable Water Supply Project in the Making
Dr. Jeff Suangco of the Rotary Club of Laoag recently visited the jail to check on the possible site of a potable water supply that will be constructed inside the jail.
It is interesting to note that the Rotarians worldwide have been dedicated to providing access to safe and clean drinking water. Through the initiative and constant coordination of the City Jail Warden J/SINSP HERMINIGILDO B RIVERA with various non-government organizations like the Rotary Club of Laoag, the Laoag City Jail will soon be one of the recipients of the said project. Inmates will no longer need to spend money just to buy distilled or mineral water from outside because a safe and clean supply of drinking water will soon be at hand.
but aren't you asking for the detainees money for water??
