Christmas Party! Party! 2011
Laoag City Jail celebrated its Christmas Party for the second time around. This is through the initiative of J/SINSP ROQUE CONSTANTINO A SISON III in coordination with various NGOs, GOs, religious groups and several capable private individuals.
This is also the second time that the Christmas Party was sponsored by VERTEXT Handyphones/Smart Communications, Inc. Mr. Handy T. Lao, the CEO and President of VERTEXT gave away cash prizes and other goodies during the party. According to him, he was very happy and humbled knowing that in his simple way, he was able to put a smile on the faces of the inmates.
It is interesting to note that Mr. Handy T. Lao has been one of the major benefactors and supporters of Laoag City Jail by sponsoring some of the major inmates' welfare and development programs of the jail.
