BJMP Chief J/DIR ROSENDO M DIAL, CESO III visits Laoag City Jail

It was a red letter day for Laoag City Jail because a very important person came to visit the place last November 19, 2010. He was no other than the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Chief himself, J/DIR ROSENDO M DIAL, CESO III. The visit coincided with the 9th Career Executive Service Annual Conference held at Fort Ilocandia Hotel and the Testimonial Program for Retirees of the Bureau.
During the visit, the Chief went around the jail premises to inspect the different facilities of the city jail. He was assisted by the new Regional Director JSSUPT Emilio C Culang, Jr, the City Jail Warden, J/SINSP Roque Constantino A Sision III, the Provincial Administrator J/SINSP Herminigildo B Rivera and some of the Laoag City Jail Personnel.
The Chief also took time in talking with some of the inmates and had a little chat with them regarding their stay here at Laoag City Jail.
Director Dial was so impressed by how far Laoag City Jail has become in terms of infrastructure development and inmates' welfare and development. He personally congratulated the leadership of J/SINSP Roque Constantino A Sison III for all his efforts in making Laoag City Jail a safe and humane haven for the inmates.
After the quick tour, the Chief then spoke with the personnel and congratulated them as well for their performance and dedication to their duties and responsibilities.
This was the very first time that the Bureau Chief visited Laoag City Jail but definitely it will not be the last!
